    Eugenia Semyonova Ginzburg's story is one that is very different from all the other imprisonment stories we have read about so far. Eugenia Semyonova Ginzburg told her story on the basis of she was a member of the communist party just in prison for the wrong reasons suspected of espionage. She goes on to explain what happened in the prison and her interactions with all these women and her captures. Eugenia Semyonova Ginzburg's story is a little different due to the fact that she talks about all this torture but doesn't ever talk about what they did to her. She definitely was tortured, she would hear all of it. Eugenia Semyonova Ginzburg even through everything that had happened and being accused of espionage was still loyal to her party. She at one point didn't think anything of the wardens as they were just doing their duty to the party. Eugenia Semyonova Ginzburg's story is different because she didn't even feel the need, to tell the truth, she just kept it inside and thought she could bare it all. 

    The quote above exhibits her strength and her willingness to go through it all. She thought that because she was the age she was able to not break as easily. She was able to remain calm, and help give advice to the young girls. Eugenia Semyonova Ginzburg was able to be poised through torture, isolation, and cruel judgment. The bond between the woman itself is a common bond between women. The whole story itself demonstrates how strong women are in general, showing their compassion, strength, and resilience.
